Vocational Solutions Inc. is directed by Dean C. Powers, a Vocational Expert practicing with Harbourview Rehabilitation and Occupational Health Consultants Ltd. throughout the Provinces of British Columbia and Alberta in Canada as well as in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. He has acted in the capacity of placement counsellor for persons with disabilities for over twenty-five years.

Mr. Powers has also been a consultant within the rehabilitation and health fields for twenty five years, conducting assessments on individual productivity, employability and job suitability and in vocational matters pertaining to persons suffering from both acquired and traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress disorders and complicated orthopaedic injuries. 

Crown organizations such as ICBC, Worker's Compensation Boards in British Columbia, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Manitoba, Ontario as well as various government ministries, insurance companies and law firms refer clients regularly. He has been accepted as an expert witness in the Supreme Courts of British Columbia and the Yukon and Washington State USA. 
 
Mr. Powers is currently a doctoral student in the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program at the Southern California University for Professional Studies, Santa Ana, California, USA. and has a Masters degree (M.A.) from Simon Fraser University. He has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC) since September 1991 and a Registered Rehabilitation Practitioner (RRP) since June 1987. Mr. Powers is the Past President of the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, British Columbia 1998-2001 and a member since January 1986
